“The Cape Fear Roller Girls are Wilmington’s premier women’s flat track roller derby league. The league is made up of strong, independent women of all ages and from all walks of life. The Cape Fear Roller Girls, founded in 2005 with only a few members, worked diligently to be recognized as a member of the worldwide Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).
